We have established an appropriate and comprehensive curriculum with activities that follow the guidelines set out by the Education Bureau for curriculum development. Our curriculum involves the use of the child-centered approach whereby we use games based on the students interests and life experiences. We enable the children to learn through experiences which makes learning enjoyable and helps the learners to make their own decisions, take responsibility for their own learning and enhance their communication skills. Our program is designed to help the learners gain a balanced and all-round development allowing the learners to reach their full potential and develop their unique abilities. The program helps the learners to gain knowledge about morality and spirituality while developing their skills in “morally, academically, physically, socially, aesthetically, and spiritually”. Five teaching philosophies have been set up: “Keen on exploring”, “Courage to face challenge”, “Blissful Learning”, ” Confidence to serve others”, and “Keep eyes on Jesus”. Through constructive learning activities, children can interact with others, interact to enhance children’s interest in learning. At the same time, based on the truth of the Bible, through Bible stories, sharing and games, it helps students build good moral character.

Free Play:Our school has play time that we refer to as “learning by playing” which means that the children play freely in the playground.  We often pair the children so that they can explore the playground and discover the different objects and materials around them. The children will learn to cooperate with their partner by combining their existing knowledge from prior experiences to gain new knowledge and skills.

Cambridge English courses:Through the internationally recognized Cambridge English courses, young children can gain knowledge about the different learning areas of English. The Cambridge English course will help the learners to increase their vocabulary and skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a fun and engaging learning environment, help students successfully move from kindergarten to the primary level. The course helps the learners to improve step by step so that they gain all the fundamentals before progressing. We provide a platform called Cambridge Young Readers whereby the children and parents can select a variety of books from the series Cambridge Reading Adventure Books and once they have completed reading the books they will receive a Cambridge Certificate of Achievement to encourage them and motivate them to read more and develop good reading habits.

Gifted-Tour‘Gifted-Tour’ (G – games, I – interactive, F – fun, T – talent, ED – education) is based on fables and dramatic play and includes a systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) programme.
